The Forum aims at bridging genuine relations with the Lebanese governmental institutions within the framework of complementarity between governmental and non-governmental sectors.Being the representative an organized segment of the civil community in Lebanon, the Forum focuses on playing the role of a constructive and efficient partner in building a modern state through dialogue and interaction among the citizens and the government, and in defending the interests of the underprivileged in the lebanese society.
Despite the difficulties disrupting the active participation of the non-governmental sector in setting and assessing the national policies, the Forum was able to achieve substantial steps in collaborating with government institutions, especially the ministries of the Displaced, Public Health, National Education and Social Affairs and as well as the Council of the South and the Council of Development and Reconstruction.
