In this section, an exhaustive overview of
the situation of migrant workers will be provided in light of Lebanese legal
framework. The problems, status and rights of foreign laborers will be
addressed in the following chapters extracts from the book entitled "Migrant
Workers in Lebanon", written by Michael Young and published by the Lebanese NGO
Forum in September 2000.
Two other documents, one displaying figures
published by the Ministry of Labor, the second focusing on migrant women will
complete the presentation on migration labor in Lebanon.
